On October 6th, 2020 the world lost a musical genius. On that day I went to Guitar Center in Hollywood ad bought a brand new Les Paul with the idea to make a tribute guitar for Eddie. I had it refinished with a slight variation on the ‘5150’ EVH stripe design. A set of Bareknuckle ‘VHII’ pickups were installed along with a custom truss rod cover with ‘For Eddie’ inscribed. I’ve never seen a Les Paul done like this. I call this guitar the FRANKENPAUL!
There’s no doubt in my mind Eddie was the greatest ever. Please watch this video of Eddie giving you all the advice you will ever need to hear. RIP Eddie Van Halen.
